Promising Practices, Promising Futures FASD Conference [Calgary] "We invite you to join us in this important multidisciplinary conference focused on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and its impact on individuals, families, communities and society at large. The two-day conference will feature half-day plenaries with keynotes Dr. Gabor Maté and Dr. Martin Brokenleg, breakout sessions and a community showcase. This year’s conference will also feature a special focus on mental health and addictions issues...." |
This resource-rich site is presented by Rob and Wendy Goetze. For about eight years, we cared for two children with severe FASD and other issues. We live in the city of Edmonton.
Please note: while TypePad is generally a blogging site, we are using it to provide a "search by category" list of support and resources for those affected by FASD. The blogging functionality also gives you the opportunity to give comments and feedback for specific listings. And using TypePad provides us with a friendly interface for adding new listings -- if you know of any FASD supports or resources which we've missed, please let us know!
