The Calgary John Howard Society is hosting a two-day workshop with Liz Lawryk of the OBD Triage Institute Workshop Description: The risk of criminal involvement for individuals diagnosed with FASD is typically higher due to a combination of variables within this disability. This two day course will focus on assisting professionals in designing supports based on the evaluation of the individual's physical, sensory, cognitive and socio-environmental factors. Discussion will include interviewing techniques, assessment of overall functioning abilities and consideration of strength-based patient-specific strategies.
